Season 3 New Skater Program - Annual 2024

This 5 week program focuses on core skating skills and roller derby basics such as derby stance/balance, stride/crossovers, stops, derby positions, and basic game play for kids who are comfortable on their skates (can safely stride forward and stop on their own).  At the end of the 5 week session, skaters will have the skills to be successful on the derby track.

Practices are twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8 PM.   We will run multiple sessions through out the year, with placement on a team immediately following for those ready!

Session 1: September 30, 2024 - October 30, 2024

Session 2: November 4, 2024 - December 11, 2024

2025 Session dates coming soon.

Required for play: Gear required to play will be the responsibility of each skater and includes quad skates (not inline), knee and elbow pads, wrist guards, mouth guard and a multi-impact helmet (no bike helmets). While loaner gear is available, each skater must have their own mouthguard at every practice.

Season 3: 2024-2025 - Annual 2024

Tomorrowland JRD's season begins in September. Open to all skaters ages 7-17.  Registration will open on August 1st. Season starts September 9th.

Teams:

Phenomenauts, A Team - Full contact, competitive travel team

Whiz-bangs, B Team - Full contact 

Nano Bots, C Team - Positional, limited contact

Cost:

Registration Fee (includes a reversible jersey): $125 due at registration  

Monthly dues: $80    

Phenomenauts (If needed):  Bottoms $30, Game Helmet $80, Scrimmage Jersey (black & white) $80, Reversible arm bands $20

During the registration process you will be given the option to pay the entire season up front, or select a payment plan.  The payment plan is set up to charge the registration fee and first month at registration and $80 on the 15th of October - May. 

Additional costs may be incurred for optional special clinics, workshops, travel team play and gear throughout the season.

Registering after September?  Monthly fees will be assessed from the month joining.
